I am Anchored

The boat rocks back and forth

back and forth

The wind rages outside the small cabin

No longer a breeze

Smooth and sweet

the water laps madly against the hull

it splashes till it reaches the windows

on land trees are swaying

to the music of the wind

the flag slapping itself hurriedly at the pole

i can hear the anchor below

of the smal boat

and

still

it is peaceful

i know that she is secure

tied to the ocean floor

i am anchored

hey! this is my first blog and ive never done it before but i thought it would be a fun thing to do in my boring summer. extmemly boring. anyways, i hope people start followime or i will feel like a loser :/ ill talk more later
